Movie Poster Tutorial

This movie poster kinda sucks because I missed a few classes so let's hope my poster for the project will look better than this.

Design

Design I chose:

ImPRESS Nails

           

I chose this product not only because of the design but also because of the purpose of using the product. ImPRESS nails are sold at any convenience store like CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart or ShopRite. They are fake acrylic nails that you just paste on your nail without having to go to the salon and getting them done and spending over 50 dollars. The nails glue on to your finger and will last for about up to a week. My favorite designs to look at are very trippy like so I really enjoy looking at these nail designs especially to use.

What is your computer experience?
I have a little computer experience when I took a computer class at Gloucester County College during my spring second semester called Introduction to Computers. The class showed us how to make resumes, posters, proper letters, and working with all of Microsoft.

What is your experience with Photoshop and Illustrator?
No experience.

Do you have a computer at home? If so dose it have Photoshop and Illustrator?
I have a computer at home just not installed with Photoshop.

What is your major ?
Computer Graphic Design.

What do you hope to get out of this class?
Learning a lot about Photoshop and Illustrator and experimenting more on the computer.

Tell me something interesting about yourself?
My family and I are apart of Cairn Rescue where we foster dogs and make sure they find families with secure homes. Currently we have 5 in our house which are all ours but we will be fostering again soon in the summer.

Write a five line story?
I am 20 years old and live at home with my parents in Mullica Hill. I used to love art as a kid and I love to draw on my own time. I find art therapy to be the best therapy it's a great way to escape and get lost in your artwork. My current dream right now is to do great this semester and hopefully transfer to a school in Philadelphia and take art classes and live in my own apartment.
